Product Description of Agricultural Roller Chain
All our roller chain products have undergone stringent process measures for the Best Quality! This includes heat treatment, which ensures the optimum ware life and toughness for all component parts. Solid hardened and shot-peened precision rollers are standard on most of our chains. The bushings provide a smooth roller-bearing effect reducing the impact load as the chain engages the sprockets tooth. All roller chain components are oriented during chain assembly to ensure pins, bushings, and side plates are correctly positioned for optimum chain strength and long life. Assembled roller chains are then dipped in a hot lubricant. This lubrication and the process in which it is significantly applied improve the ware life capacity of the chain and further protect it from the effects of the environment. All of our chains are factory preloaded. They are pretested to support and maintain the expected load the chain will see when used. This helps align the chain parts, which will minimize the initial elongation. This will drastically increase the life of the chain. All our roller chain is certified from ISO 9001:2000 QM certification through ISO 14001 (which documents the sustainability and environmental compatibility of production and waste disposal processes) to the ISO/TS 16949 quality requirements for the automotive industry.
What is the Pitch of a Roller Chain?
Power transmission using a roller chain is an efficient way to drive mechanical power from an engine or motor to a machine. Roller chains are a standard power transmission method, especially in low to medium-speed drives. These chains are made of short cylindrical rollers held together by side links.
Pitch is the distance between two consecutive roller pins in a chain. There are several ways to measure the pitch of a roller chain. The easiest way is to measure from the center of the roller pin on one link to the center of the roller pin on the following link.

What Is the Best Grade of Agricultural Roller Chain?
Farming chains are not created equal. G100 chains are the accurate benchmark for heavy lifting. Its strengths include working loads from 4,300 lbs to 22,600 lbs. Its disadvantage is that it has a short service life and a short service life. Its best applications include heavy lifting, rough terrain, and heavy service.
G100 chains may not be for everyone, but they are a viable solution for the rest of us. The G100 is a substantial steel alloy, making it a worthy contender for high-end lifting scales. Its 4,300-lb to 22,600-lb workload is suitable for a variety of industries. Unlike its less forgiving cousin, it’s an excellent choice for weightlifting. Its most ardent supporters include farmers, distributors, and retailers.
